Enrollment Information for the 2026 – 2027 school year!
At Livingston Street, we aim to serve working families. For that reason, our program operates on a year-round, 12-month schedule, providing consistent care and learning throughout the year. Our 2026-2027 school year will start on Wednesday September 9th.
Each spring, we hold an Open Enrollment period for families interested in joining our community. The first step in the admissions process is attending a tour with our Executive Director. These tours are an opportunity to learn more about our philosophy, classroom environment, and daily rhythms, as well as to ask questions. Sign up for a Spring 2026 tour here
Once Open Enrollment begins, all families who have attended a tour will receive the updated Parent Handbook and enrollment contract. Families who wish to apply should review these materials and submit their completed contract during the Open Enrollment window along with a $50 application fee and one month deposit (applied to the last month).
After Open Enrollment closes, families who submitted contracts will be contacted regarding placement for the upcoming year. If offered a space, families will be asked to submit an enrollment deposit to secure their child’s spot.
If space remains after this process, enrollment will continue on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
Families are also invited to submit any inquires through our Google Form or contact us directly at teachers@livingstonstreet.org.

Aftercare
Livingston Street families run a parent-led cooperative aftercare program that takes place five days a week from 4:15–5:30 PM. This program allows children to stay and play later in the day while parents share responsibility for supervising the group. Families enrolled at Livingston Street are welcome to participate in this cooperative option so long as space is available.
We look forward to meeting families who are interested in becoming part of the Livingston Street community.
Here’s what former parents have to say about their time at Livingston Street:
“Livingston Street was a haven for us as a young family: a place where we felt welcome, where we trusted in the support and love given to our child, and where we as parents personally felt seen and cared for. I’m thankful for the open-minded and non judgmental environment – where I felt comfortable to bring my insecurities as a parent and share with the Liv. St team for support, a laugh, and welcomed advice. We are beyond grateful for Livingston Street in seeing our child fully and for supporting and aiding her growth at such a special time in her/our lives. Endlessly thankful.”
-Grace & Tyondai
“Three years later, our daughter talks about her time at Livingston Street as if it happened yesterday. She attended part-time and for just a year, but the relationships and experiences endure. As new parents, it was so impactful having such intentional caregivers guide us during those early (and sometimes challenging) years. Unexpectedly, Livingston Street became a foundation for how we approached our sense of family and community. We learned quickly that Livingston Street is much more than a childcare provider, and we’re so grateful for Cheryl, Sally and all the other folks who made that possible.”
– Katrina
“Both of our daughters have been through Livingston Street, and they both still talk about the adventures they used to go on, and their funny teachers. Livingston Street really gave them a safe and nurturing space in which to do what kids do best–playing, exploring, and discovering how they relate to their world and others. We loved the unique sense of freedom that our kids got to experience here. As parents, we were also grateful for the community that Livingston Street gave us.”
– John
“I’ve made a lot of decisions since becoming a parent. Some of them more questionable than others. But Livingston Street is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my kid. The confidence and independence he gained from those formative years will carry him through his big kid era like a shiny treasure.”
